Formerly C.B.L., our Jonquière branch has been in operation since 1949.

With a team of professionals and electro-mechanics, we specialize in low to very high-power electric motors, transformers, generators, pumps and other rotary industrial equipment.

Our quality management system is ISO 9001 : 2015 certified and its registration is administered by Intertek.

Calibration and balancing of mechanical and electrical precision tools, response to customers’ technical specifications, rigorous monitoring of procedures and tests, and final verification allow us to deliver products and services that meet our customers’ expectations.

Since February 21, 2020, our Jonquière workshop has been recognized as a certified partner-repairer for the ABB Authorized Service Provider program. To achieve this, MEL had to satisfy a rigorous and intensive audit. MEL is proud to hold this certificate, which confirms our know-how and commitment to providing the highest level of services.

This branch also specializes in preventive maintenance: vibration analysis, laser alignment, thermography, dynamic balancing, dry ice cleaning (CO2).

In addition, the branch provides a load dynamometer test service and has a large sales component for complete drive systems for every industry. We serve the greater Saguenay region, the Côte-Nord and all of Northern Québec.
